About Event
RYOSUKE KIYASU returns to London Ontario in a whipping flash of long black hair: a cacophonous evening of ambience, noise-jazz, art-punk, and explosive solo snare drumming at the legendary Honey Dip Bar.
Active since 1995, RYOSUKE KIYASU started his solo snare drum project in Canada in 2003. Kiyasu’s solo work has bridged the worlds of music and fashion, including a collaboration with Swedish brand Our Legacy. His performances have been featured by major international media, including BBC News and i-D Magazine.
KIYASU is joined this evening by twitchy noise-jazz ensemble Carrot Cake Milkshake, another yet-to-be-announced band, and ambient electro-saxophonist Ruby Abley, the 2026 artist-in-residence at India's Jodhpur RIFF Festival.
